The Festival Art Competition

‘Wild and Wonderful’

Following on from the success of our last art competition, we invited you to dust off your easels, sharpen your pencils and get your cameras to the ready!  We received 50 entries and these are now being displayed in Oswestry Library for the month of August prior to being displayed at the Festival on the 4th and 5th September.

Please come and visit the exhibition in the library and cast your vote for the favourite in each age group. Many entrants have offered their work for sale with the proceeds going towards the restoration of the Montgomery Canal. Forms will be available for visitors to place sealed bids for those items being offered for sale. The voting will continue during the festival with winners being announced on the Sunday afternoon.

We are grateful to all those who have entered and a particular thanks to Maesbury Primary School.
